<p>A novice gardener is like a kid with a box of eight crayons. You can still draw a lot of things with eight crayons but marigolds end up the same color as sunflowers and forget about coloring a winter sunset. Although it may be tempting to plant many different types of plants and vegetables, an important hint to remember about beginner gardening is to start out with a smaller, more manageable garden at first. Many people make this common mistake, enthused about their very first garden they end up planting more than they can handle, and then aren&#8217;t able to tend to it properly. As skills and confidence grow, gradually increase the garden&#8217;s size to fit your time and energy commitments. However, one variation that has caught on with even the most novice gardener is referred to as &#8220;minigardening&#8221;. It involves growing plants in containers, utilizing either a prepared mixture of a soil substitute and fertilizer, or aggregate culture.</p>
<p>While tending to your own garden is a lot of work, the rewards are plentiful. Whether it&#8217;s a new adventure in beginner gardening, or the experienced gardener who has grown their own vegetables before, gardening is supposed to be a fun, relaxing task, rather than a dreaded chore that is avoided. What is interesting to me (as a novice gardener) is that what is produced in Spring (especially flowers and flowering shrubs and trees) are the results of planning and preparation that was completed in the Fall and Winter. You can&#8217;t plant tulips or a dogwood tree in March and expect them to flower this Spring.</p>
<p>Another helpful hint for beginner gardening is to sow early on in the planting season. If you are growing vegetables rather than flowers, remember to only plant as much as you and your family will need to avoid wasting any of your efforts. Once your gardening skills improve, you may even want to consider growing vegetables for a profit, if of course you have the interest and the time required to begin such a venture.</p>
<p>Yet another common mistake made by beginner gardening enthusiasts is not learning the basics about the plants and vegetables they put into their garden. It&#8217;s a smart idea to do plenty of research on the various growing requirements of the individual vegetables you&#8217;ll be planting. Not all plants and veggies are equal, as some will need more care and maintenance than others. When starting out, stick with the easiest plants to grow, adding more complex varieties as your gardening experience grows along with your crops.</p>
<p>Vegetables that flourish and grow during the warm, summer months, such as squash, and different varieties of peppers and tomatoes, may be purchased as young plants from nurseries rather than starting from seeds. This way the plants are already started to ensure the best growth until you&#8217;re more confident in your gardening skills. These types of vegetables should always be planted after the danger of the last frost is over, usually late in the month of May, or early in June. Late August is yet another prime time for planting before autumn arrives.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re a beginner golfer, then bags are definitely a must. However, there are things that you should know before going to the nearest store and buying a bag on impulse. First, there are two types of bags? Carry bags and cart bags.</p>
<p>Carry bags are bags that are used when you are planning to have a lot of walking on the course. Cart bags are those that you use when walking is not possible (as some courses prohibit walking), and riding a cart is your option. A beginner golfer will most definitely buy a walking bag at first, although if you are a serious beginner of the game, then you will eventually buy both types of bags.</p>
<p>If you are a newbie in the game, you might ask &#8220;What is a golf bag for? I only have four clubs.&#8221; A bag is functional equipment rather than a fashion statement. It is not just for your clubs, but it can also hold your other equipment and accessories. Some advanced bags even have pocket coolers that can keep your drink ice-cold even for hours! You might want to consider that, especially when you will buy a carry bag.</p>
<p>When buying a bag, especially a carry bag, find a comfortable one. One should check the straps to see if it fits comfortably and whether it can be carried easily. Remember that your bag will be one of your trusted companions on the greens, and that you will spend hours with it. So choose wisely.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t buy low quality bags, because you will end up purchasing another bag in the next few months if your old bag tears up. You should also buy your bag depending on the number of clubs that you have. Most bags can carry up to 15 clubs. A tournament however limits the number of clubs in your bag.</p>
<p>Another important thing to consider when purchasing a golf bag is its weight. This is one of the most important things to know. Bags should be light enough to be carried or carted easily, but sturdy enough to hold your clubs and protect them. Some bags are even water resistant, and are rain proofed for the protection of your clubs.</p>
<p>Most of these bags have 8 or 9 dividers or pockets. Again, the number of dividers that you will need depend on the amount of clubs and accessories you will carry. If you have many clubs then choose a bag with many dividers. However, these types of bags have the tendency to be heavier. Some bags can weigh less than 5 pounds! These types of bags are made up of space-age materials such as graphite, however, they more expensive.</p>
<p>Remember that when buying golf bags, the lighter it is the better and more comfortable it will be.</p>

<p>A well designed circuit training program will build strength, increase stamina, tone muscles, improve body awareness, burn fat, and improve your aerobic and muscular endurance all at the same time!</p>
<p>Circuit training is my absolute favorite method of fitness training! Circuits can be successfully developed for those desiring to lose weight, conditioning for better athletic performance, and for injury rehabilitation. The fast pace and constantly changing workouts provide a different type of stimulus to the body and keep my clients from getting bored with their workouts.</p>
<p>A professionally designed circuit training routine can be totally personalized to give you exactly what you want. Whether you are a beginner to fitness, recovering from an injury and returning to the gym, or an elite athlete seeking improvement in your particular sport, circuits can be designed to emphasize strength, endurance, speed, weight loss, agility, balance, or any other aspect of your fitness that is important to you.</p>
<p>Traditionally, the circuit training format utilizes a group of 6-10 exercise &#8220;stations,&#8221; where you complete one exercise right after the other at heart thumping intensity! Each exercise is performed for a specific number of repetitions or for a prescribed time period before moving on to the next exercise.</p>
<p>The exercises within each circuit are separated by a brief rest interval (10-30 seconds), with each circuit followed by a timed rest period of 60 seconds or more. The total number of circuits performed per exercise session will vary depending upon your fitness objectives and training level (beginner, intermediate or advanced).</p>
<p>My Suggested Guidelines When Circuit Training</p>
<p>* A warm up should be at low to moderate intensity for 8-10 minutes. Follow with stretching of all major muscle groups</p>
<p>* Perform circuit workouts 2-3x per week, leaving at least 48 hours between each session.</p>
<p>* Select 6-8 sessions for each workout.</p>
<p>* Arrange your exercises (or stations) so that they alternate between muscle groups (i.e., triceps dips followed by squats), and work each muscle group during the sessions.</p>
<p>* Perform 10-12 repetitions of each exercise, using a weight that is challenging yet allows you to perform each repetition with perfect form.</p>
<p>* Leave time for an adequate cool down of 8-10 minutes at the end of your workout.</p>
<p>* Honestly consider your level of fitness! If you&#8217;ve never done any sort of circuit work before (even if you think you are fit and in shape), be conservative. Sore muscles, aching joints and the increased likelihood of injury will be the result if you push yourself harder than your body is ready for.</p>
<p>Cardio Circuit Fat Burning Routine</p>
<p>This is a great circuit training routine that has fat-burning cardio intervals between exercises. You need minimum equipment: a pair of medium-weight dumb bells, a medicine ball, a jump rope and one of those 65 cm Physio balls. You may need to adjust the number of repetitions in accordance with your current fitness level. Watch your heart rate! Rest as you need to with the goal of completing the circuit with little to no rest between exercises.</p>
<p>Cycle through twice, advancing to 3 circuits as tolerated. Do this routine 3x per week for 3-4 weeks, then change to a different routine.</p>
<p>And as usual, please consult your physician before undertaking this or any other exercise program.</p>
<p>Here we go!</p>
<p>* Rope jumps &#8211; 50 reps</p>
<p>* Medicine Ball Wood chops &#8211; 20 each direction</p>
<p>* Dumbbell shoulder carry squat and press &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>* Hamstring Bridge / Rolls with physioball &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>* Physioball pushups &#8211; as many reps as possible</p>
<p>* Rope jumps &#8211; 50 reps</p>
<p>* Dumb bell alternating bent over rows &#8211; 20 reps each side</p>
<p>* Medicine ball stationary lunges &#8211; 15 reps each leg</p>
<p>* Medicine ball double crunch &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>* Medicine ball mountain climbers &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>* Medicine ball prone jumping jacks &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>* Bench triceps dips &#8211; as many reps as possible</p>
<p>Try adding circuit training to your current workout routine, or in place of 1-2 days of plain old cardio.</p>

You can visit your local health club, search through your local phone book or local newspaper or use google to find how to do yoga classes nearby to where you live or work.</p>
<p>Additionally, not much in the way of equipment is needed when learning how to do yoga. More often than not yoga mats are provided for free in the classes that offer yoga or you can purchase a yoga map for very little cost.</p>
